This year is as exciting as it is scary. I'm staying put career-wise this year (I think), hoping I make enough to sustain this way of life. And I have two exhibits (and possibly a third group show) coming up!
A couple of things for you to consider. If you have always wanted to be:
1) a songwriter/composer - FAWM is in February. Think you can come up with 14 songs in 28 days?
2) a novelist - NaNoWriMo is in November. Can you write 50,000 words in a month?
Or as a protest, don't write. You've got company: National No Writing Month.
