Just flown in from St. Petersburg: Hermitage Magazine #4(9), which has my photo of Opera de Bastille (below, lower right) in it. "Unprepossessing from the outside," wrote Alexey Leporc of the opera house. Honest guy, he is. I wonder what he has to say about the photo.
You'd think that after working in magazines the thrill of being credited is gone. But I dream of visiting the Hermitage Museum, so this was quite special.
