Took the National Express 561 service to Leeds from Victoria. How could I resist the £6 fare (£1 to, £5 returning, £1 travel insurance)? So the 4 hrs, 20 mins journey stretched to 5 hrs, 1o mins. Funny that the two drivers were both over 50, had tattoos and earrings.
On the way, I reflected on what made me smile: the occasional rapeseed in bloom (memories of Denmark) and the sunlight streaming through the clouds.
