Hard to duplicate the experience, but I've tried to string together some of the sights and sounds so that you can get a feel of the atmosphere.
Two options for viewing the photos below. Either way, the historical context is trivialized: first by the photoshow speed, then by the scrapblog template. But these are sacrifices intended to keep you from getting bored because of the number of photos. :)

i hate to sound like some pubescent "young star" hack, but you have no idea how much your travels have inspired me. your slideshows and anecdotes make me high, lol.
please write more about studying in a foreign country (what's it like living in single-digit temperature? do people there ask you if we still live in trees? and are there really beautiful people on every corner?), for those dreaming to do so. ;)
hi nic! i'll do my best to tell you about student life abroad in future posts without romanticizing too much. all of us on these programmes have interesting things to tell, for sure, but there are many, many things that we don't talk about simply because we take them for granted.
everyday life in a big city in england and in a small town in denmark feel like polar opposites. but at one point or another, there will be situations where looking different will work either for you or against you. i keep in mind who i am and where i am from, regardless.
thanks for taking the time to say hi. stay tuned and spread the word. :)
