Since it's the last day of the Cannes Film Festival, I thought it would be worth pointing out a way to get through films studies without paying tuition and writing papers. Film Studies For Free is Catherine Grant's great blog with extensive links and scholarly works (hurray for Open Access!).
Film students don't only watch a lot of films, they also read a lot about film, so do your bit, movie fan. There's Star Trek studies, too, you know.
