The writing on the (Facebook) wall

NYT's tech guy David Pogue, a funny geek who can accompany himself on the piano (summa with distinction in Music from Yale), has written a love letter to the Canon S95. My brother has been talking about this for months. Must. Upgrade. Soon.

Why does this matter to me? Read Pogue's bio. You know I have a soft spot for former Broadway accompanists. If you haven't seen them yet, go look for his performances on TED.com.

  1. i've been reading a lot lately on which is better - the s95 or the lx5. still undecided on which to get, if ever. pogue is a known techie (a mac fanatic, if i'm not mistaken) so his views are quite helpful.

  2. the better to shoot beer bottles with, atty? pogue is not infallible, but being so immersed in tech, he knows what he is talking about. :)

  4. I did some research and this camera has not only arrived the Norwegian market as well, but isn't that expensive either. I have been looking for a new camera for a while, and the S95 looks like a worthy successor to my 5 year old Canon Digital Ixus 750.

Thanks for the link to Pogue's Love Letter, hehe :)
