Bicol food trip

Red Platter at the Cereza complex of restaurants in Naga City is a home-y place. The first thing you see inside is the cake display, which made me think, is this place a Red Ribbon wannabe. But it's not.

We never got to try Biggs, the largest homegrown fastfood chain in Bicol.

Geewan belongs to the same company as Red Platter. It serves Bicolano dishes.

The food at Molino Grill is good for sharing. The grill is beside Beanbag Coffee, a fine place to hang out with friends. It's also a local chain. It has a branch at SM City Naga, which has the biggest ceiling fan I've ever seen.

Bob Marlin, anyone?

not market day

Sparkle is a Coca-Cola product I had never encountered before. Think of it as the average Juan's Mountain Dew.

The OTOP (One Town, One Product) of Calabanga town: dried fish. This is abo, caught off San Miguel Bay.

Toasted siopao from Atlantic, one of the five bakery chains you can get it from. It's incredibly simple but unbelievably delicious. It's like putok pandesal with meat and egg inside, served warm.

  1. You must hire some reliable employees for your restaurant to ensure that quality service is given to every customer.
