From the stash of unwatched films: Thirst (2009)

I was interested in Park Chan-Wook's work because I had never seen any. Why it took me a year and a half to watch it, I am not sure why.

Thirst is the kind of movie in which the story arc seems to already close...but wait, there's more! The plot just gets weirder in a gruesome but not scary way. I don't consider it a love story. Never had a taste for blood, but this is worth watching for the way it stretches your mind. And then there's Mercedes Cabral, who somehow makes the film a bit more interesting.
